Industrial Design

& Upcycled Fashion

Sydney Lauren

A collection of my projects where I explore innovative ways to combine materials, form, and function while giving each design its own unique character.

Project Portfolio

I’m a senior studying Industrial Design at the University of Kansas, with a strong passion for sustainable design and creative problem-solving. I chose this field because I believe thoughtful, sustainable design can make a real difference for both us and the planet. My focus is on soft goods, and I’m always eager to keep expanding my skills.

Alongside my studies, I run a small clothing business where I upcycle used garments into new pieces, blending my love for design with sustainability. Through this work, I’ve collaborated with other small businesses on tags, logos, and pop-up events, building community while bringing new life to old materials.
